Dr. LaTasha Jones Adams is the creative ideas director for Dominion Ideas. She's always had BIG IDEAS and enjoys helping others manifest their BIG IDEAS too.

She earned her B.A. in English and Religion from Spelman College, M.Ed. in Education from Cambridge College, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction/Urban Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

​

She began her teaching career as a Teach For America corps member in Atlanta, GA. She taught middle school math and English Language Arts.  Since then she has worked as a research assistant, curriculum specialist, and assistant professor. In each of these roles she worked toward educational equity for all families.

 

In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband, daughter, and Pandemic puppy, Mapenzi.
